It's a case of 'good luck' with the project.
We're talking hundreds of millions of dollars to set up and do R&D.
And then you have the marketing...

It would be interesting to see if they follow up.

Yes, I'm not quite sure how they will do it.

Its one thing for Jaguar to make continuation lightweight E-Types and D-Types, but these are racing cars and don't need to be road legal. A luxury saloon does, and i'm not sure how they will manage it and stay true to the original design.

It might be more like the new mini that has visual cues to the original car, but is otherwise unrelated. But then they run into all the engineering issues. So who knows.

Mini was relatively easy as they used a current BMW architecture and fitted a different body.

These guys don't produce any cars.

Mini was BMW first front wheel drive car. A decade before BMW released there own front wheel drive in 2 series router. But also as you know used other companies engine gearbox units to lower build cost . First was shared with Chrysler from memory then Peugeot.
