Milan Brown 450SE for Sale

My garage is filling up with toys and the 450SE needs to go.

It's a 1976 Milan Brown 450SE, originally had Brown Velour interior but that was chaned to a cream Leather Interior about 6 or 7 years ago.

I bought it in 2000 and have ensured that the mechanical condition has been kept up to date. New timing chains when first purchased by me, starter, battery, transmission rebuild (by Styria), new rear exhaust and muffler (six months ago), W126 (renewed by Styria) rims with new tyres (less than 3K) and other items.

It is reported not to have had a major accident prior to my purchase and no accident damage since. There are some minor parking knocks to it.

I haven't put up pictures as yet, but if anyone is interested in this vehicle it has 9 months rego, new tyres and is very clean and shiny.

BTW guys, I know a little bit of Brian's 450SE, and it is quite nice with excellent brightwork. I also know that both heads have been reconditioned, and other mechanical work carried out, by a well known, and respected, Mercedes specialist mechanic.

Remeber there's 10 months' rego / 3rd party. Reconditioned W126 rims with new Falken 215x60x15's.

So one would expect at least 10 months trouble free running.

Although I'm not a lover of Milan Brown cars, I recall seeing Brian's car and thinking that it wasn't a bad looking example.

Brian, perhaps you ought to post a few pictures.

Whilst some might thinkthat the asking price is a tad on the high side, I really think that Brian is selling it a very, very realistic price - he's obviously not making a single cent on the deal, and really he deserves to get at least the amount he has put on the car. Yes, I do think that pictures may help in selling the car. BTW, Brian, why in fact are you selling ? You say you have too many toys in the garage , so maybe you could elaborate to a certain extent. I live in a town house that has a double garage. With the 450 a RAV4 and a Mirage, already one car sits outside (and it's not the 450).

Coming along any day now is a Lexus and so the 450 is a relucant eviction.

I have posted the For Sale only on this forum at the moment as I believe the car will find a worthy home via the members.

By the way, with the sale of the car is also included a full weatherproof car cover, for when one needs to be by the seaside or whatever and also a spare set of 14' Bundts.
