K jetronic service

[aussie 6.9]

I have just completed a 1000k trip in my 450sl all went well except the idle is a little rough when hot. Can anybody suggest a shop in Sydney that is experienced with the K Jetronic system. Returned 15 l per 100k at highway speeds,starts easily both hot and cold but hot idle is not smooth like my 6.9. Welcome suggestions. Regards Mark.

These are shops that have a good reputation, depending on what part of Sydney you're in.

North: Peninsula Prestige - North Narrabeen
South: AutoHaus1 - Carringbah
West: West Star - St. Marys

There are probably others that I am not aware of.

This is the company who has all the bench test facilities for K Jetronic.
Most of the workshops send the components to him for bench testing.
If the hot starting (and the cold) is ok there can't be much wrong.

Maybe it is just a bit rich at hot idle ? Fuel pressure too high ? It is adjustable.
