What I find of interest are some of the specs. I have never really seen AMG claimed figures for the 6.9, and even in this publication, it does not specify what modifications AMG carried out. However, it seems that they managed to get another hundred horses out of the engine, and that the 0-100 acceleration time has been cut by about a second down to 6.1. In those days, and even today to a slightly lesser extent, those figures are very respectable - no, better than that.
The tyre size comparison is also of great interest, PLUS THE CLAIMED FUEL CONSUMPTION, giving a range of about 390 kilometers on a full tank. That is of some consequence to say the least. I guess performance and power need to be paid for. What I also like about this website is the additional information, in most cases quite comprehensive, about hundreds of other cars.
