Most 116s are afflicted with that problem - sometimes it can even be unsightly. I have endeavoured to adjust this out when fitting replacement dashes, but success has been somewhat limited.

We have now devised a process that will straighten this timber fillet. So far, complete success with one, and we are about to try another unit. Will post result in due course. Regards Styria

Sounds good because this issue is a bit of a pain and upsets the line of the timber.

Actually took me a while to realise that it wasnt the glovebox lid on the SE lol
