It certainly looks like a variation on the original A Class and of course it was intended that the sandwich construction floor would eventually house either batteries for an electric car or hydrogen for a hydrogen car. Alas, silly motoring critiques who really can be souped-up trash-magazine writers, told the public the A Class was no good and MB eventually changed the formula despite the A Class selling extremely well.
More details please Styria?

Brian

Hi BenzBoy, the site is difficult to navigate, but I have found some photos. They even affirm my belief that MB shouyld have put this car into production. If they could have sold it for about $25K. to $28K., they wouldn't have been able to produce enough of them. I think it is a stunner - reminds me just a little of one of the present Citroen models.

N.B. I did say the site is stubborn - the above link produces details of a BMW model. However, on my PC, if you scroll around, the page comes up with about four or five small pages, and one of them shows you part of the interior. I'll also include the link again as I have located it for the second time. Keep fingers crossed.

N.B. Sorry, but keep scrolling - you'll come up with seven small pages. See how you go.
