Bremen Classic Motor Show

Happened to chance upon this website the other day. What a refreshing change to sort of see "every day" cars - you know, not the ones that cost trillions, but something to hold interest and to be appreciated. It's a few days since I looked at the video, thus have forgotten which of the exhibits really stand out.

I can hear the spoken German word - well, just the odd snippet here and there, and it just seems to hold some affinity for me. Regards Styria

Nice to see some American and British cars, no Australian or early Japanese cars though.

Been there a couple of times and it really is a great show. I was astounded at the number of people attending. You expect mega crowds at Techno Classica but I didn't expect anything like the crowd that turns up to this event. Maybe because it is low brow.

Or just because of population base in Europe they can draw on. With relative distance to be travelled.

I think the secret to this successful show is the variety, some mundane, of the cars on exhibit. To some small degree, even 'old jack' may well be able to afford some of those restorations. In my view, the quality of exhibits is certainly far better than average. The video starts off with the splendid looking Alvis, and it just so happens that there is a latterly much discussed DKW delivery van from the pages of TK. There are also some really nice looking Finnies, especially the fully restored car, and then you also have the Kombi Bus at an unrealistic price of Euros115K. Crazy ! My pick ? The beautiful Alfa, with its exquisite frontal styling. Regards Styria
