AMG full body kit

Hi guys just letting you know that i am in discusion with a body kit maker in Perth to make a copie of the full amg bodykit for w116 based on photos on the net have allready told him i dont need the front spoiler thanks to Styria but he will get back to me in next week or so asked me to bring my car around to measure when i get back to Australia in about 8 weeks time said there will be discount if more than 1 unit made if anybody is interested let me know will keep everyone updated upon my return

Hi michel im talking side skirts rear and boot lid bobtail i emailed the business in Perth and he returned my email today i then phoned him and said he has printed off the images which he emailed to ask if they were correct after confirming they were the ones i was talking about he told me he will do the designs on computer but will need my car for final measure before making them also said if more than one cost per unit will be cheaper will keep you updated return back in Australia in about 8 weeks time

I serioulsy thing you should go for a full body kit Michel on your 690 - you could even through down a challenge to Vince on the point of who does red better...

Hi Geoff, I am not so sure about the side skirts - if they could be done tastefully, yep all go, but some of the '80s offerings that I have seen in illustrations on some other cars can look quite garish. Just my op. Regards Styria - I think the boot spoiler looks okay (must be body colour) and of course the front...looks pretty smashing. Maybe I am biassed. Styria (again)

To styria re Castel Felise Im the King off the World whoops wrong voyage will update when more details are known about body kit as for the one im talking about google images amg 6.9 its the chocalte brown 6.9 with side and rear views i have it on a poster all very tastefully done not over the top like lorinser kit

What actually looks better in my opinion are 126 (?AMG) side skirts as seen recently on a 6.9 sold in the US.

Sorry Styria - I actually like my "Black German Sausage" as the car presents now but if I end up with a full kit I would definitely paint it and remove that towbar that AMG69 went to a lot of trouble to fit.



It of course still has your repro AMG front spoiler as well and I think the sides and particularly the rear look a little bare.

I thought that the W126 AMG side skirts were the same as the ones for the W116?

The W126 has a longer wheelbase than the W116.
