AMG front Spoiler

Hello can anyone point me in the right direction, I'm looking for a front chin spoiler for a 116, I heard there were some AMG repo's made some time back and would like to know if any are still available.

Hi Ronin6.9, firstly please let me welcome you to TK. It is hoped that you will like the site - at times, we're getting away a little bit from matters pertaining to our 116s and 107s, but the cars are a little thin on the ground, so I try and find other means to make the site more readable and, hopefully, ultimately more interesting.

Regarding your query concerning the genuine lip, and also the AMG reproduction spoilers. The genuine units really have shot up in price over the years, and whilst I have not checked for some time, they may not even be available any longer. I do have a replacement unit in stock - used, and maybe about 65% condition, priced at $180.00, plus postage and packing. They are awkward units to pack and AP will not take them.

The alternative would be to opt for one of the AMG reproduction spoilers - I have one on hand, and the price is still $375.00 unpainted, plus packing and postage. I can get you a price for cartage. The cost of packing: $55.00.
Personally, I much prefer the frontal appearance with the AMG spoiler. I'll see if I can dig up a photo for you. Regards Styria

Thankyou for the info, I like the look of the repoduction, how does it match up with the bodywork and does it bolt on well. I would be interested in buying it from you as I in the process of having my 6.9 fully repainted.

Just stumbled across this thread accidentally. It really does make me wonder. Nothing further has been heard nor seen from our comrade (fellow member) despite the welcome that was extended to him. Does anyone know if anyone, or anybody, has offended this man ?
