6.9 on carsales.com.au - AGAIN?

Hi All,

The above has come back onto carsales.com.au again (silver/blue; 260k km). Apparently fully restored.

What's the story with this car? There arn't many good pictures - ie engine bay, boot, floors, console etc.

Hi Braminator123, considering that the owner is obviously looking at above average money, you'd think that he/she would have made a more concerted effort to submit better quality pictures. As it stands, there is little by way of information that would be substantive in asking $25K. Thus, if one wanted to take a closer look at the car, you'd have to front up in person to properly evaluate the car.

Another little snippet - Astral Silver. A very common colour, quite conservative, in fact extremely so, and it was one of the factors why George's car never really appealed to me. I did have an Astral Silver 6.9 that we used as an every day car, but I sold that to ChrisP. in partially rebuilt condition (new paint, lots of other new items, valve grind/de-coke,,etc. etc.) some two years ago. I'll see if I can find some reference to his car on Topklasse. Regards Styria
