Some people, again, are very resourceful and extremely capable. Such as fitting the mighty M100 6.3 engine into the small 280SL Pagoda model.

I don't know what the handling would be like, but straight line acceleration would have to be AMG like. The text is in German, but there is a translation facility in the upper task bar. Regards Styria

I should imagine that such a car would have poor turn in response and pronounced understeer until it got too far out of line, then switch to oversteer under braking. You would have to know when to 'catch' it. More skill reqiuired for this than I have.

Oversteer would be the order when accelerating around a curve. A good driver can balance the over powered rear wheels against the steering. Some folks would call that 'drifting'. In one form of motor racing, you can get style points for this!

BTW, I have seen pictures on the Net for an American 6.3 Pagoda. Perhaps they can be found again and posted here.

Hi Mark, great collection of videos - and what a magnificent job they've done with the car. I liked the car, but also the real estate layout - all that huge carport type of space. Call me strange, but there was one thing that disturbed me when watching the three videos - believe it or not, but it was the way the old guy slammed the bonnet shut. I suspect that's the only way of closing them securely, but I was still taken aback a bit. I normally go 'easy does it'. Regards Styria
