1974 Holden disaster

Worth having a look in the next week or so before the IView episode expires. Peter Wherrett is certainly not a fan of the Holden of 1974 and this explains why the Australian public was starting even then to look at different manufacturers.

Yes the HQ platform wasn't a great drive till RTS was introduced in the HZ which was almost the end off design

Agreed.

Designed by their testing engineer who was a recent import to Australia from Germany Peter Hanenberger, besides a fairly long list of things that equated to RTS the main improvement was standard radial tyres. Before this, the standard offering was cross ply tyres, and radials were an option.
